Our Roots: The Story Behind Arab Business Enterprise
In the 2020 U.S. Census, more than 3.5 million Americans can trace their roots to an Arab country from the Middle East or Northern Africa. This population is rich and diverse across various states; it includes Doctors, Lawyers, Scientists, Engineers, Teachers, Bankers, contractors, and other entrepreneurs who are predominantly hard workers and excel in their field. There is also the subpopulation of Arabs in this country who came longing to start their own business, but very little is known about who they are, their whereabouts, and the level of their successes.
The Arab Business Enterprises (ABE) is aiming to develop a robust network of Arab business leaders and entrepreneurs who actively contribute to the economy in their community. Gaining recognition within the USA is a strategic endeavor for the Arab populous and ABE. Such a network fosters collaboration, knowledge sharing, and mutual support among accomplished professionals. Most importantly, it enables Arab business professionals to reach their full potential. This can be achieved by fostering connections, sharing expertise, and amplifying achievements. The end goal is for this network to become a powerful force for recognition and influence in the dynamic landscape of American business.
